Jonatan Swift je završio Guliverova putovanja okomivši se svom snagom na porok ponosa (pride). Prije nego će napisati zadnjih pet slova (Finis) stavio je rečenicu: “And therefore I here entreat those who have any tincture of this absurd vice, that they will not presume to come in my sight.”
